About J. Chase Carlin, DC

As an athlete, Dr. Carlin grew up going to the chiropractor for aches and pains. His love for baseball lead him all over the United States, playing for multiple traveling teams throughout his youth. Chiropractic care became an essential part of his health and performance.

Baseball ultimately led him to an athletic scholarship at Coffeyville Community College, to pitch for the Red Ravens. Dr. Carlin eventually had to have Tommy Johns surgery after dealing with a career-ending elbow injury. Chiropractic, again, became a crucial part of his rehabilitation.

Dr. Carlin then attended Kansas State University. His passion for helping others grew while he worked at the Manhattan Emergency Shelter, assisting homeless families and individuals through their difficult times. Dr. Carlin graduated from Kansas State with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work.

Dr. Carlin then moved to Kansas City to work for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) as an MS Navigator. Here he assisted people living with MS, by helping them find resources needed to fight the difficulties of the disease.

After working at NMSS for several years, Dr. Carlin was asked to be a pitching coach for a local youth baseball team. Teaching others how to increase their performance with proper bio-mechanics ignited his desire to improve health in as many people as possible.

In 2013, Dr. Carlin started his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Cleveland University in Kansas City. Here he mastered his chiropractic adjusting technique, giving him the ability to help change people’s lives. He completed the program in the Fall of 2018. Dr. Carlin has worked as a Chiropractor since and opened Carlin Chiropractic in the summer of 2022. The rest is history!
